Where can I purchase tickets to A NICE Night 2019?
Visit nice2019.givesmart.com to purchase tickets now and automatically register for our silent auction.
Do I have to be 21 to attend?
Yes. Please bring ID as we will be checking at the door.
What is the dress code?
While there is no formal dress code, dress as you would for a NICE night out in the city.
Will dinner and drinks be provided?
Yes! Come hungry as we will have a three course meal courtesy of On Point Bistro, additional dessert from Insomnia Cookies, beer courtesy of Lagunitas Brewing Company and Springfield Distributors, wine, coffee, tea, lemonade and other non-alcoholic beverages.
How does the online auction work?
New this year, our silent auction will be conduced exclusively online. To participate, bring your smartphones fully charged to the event! All bidding can be done via mobile phone without the need for a specific app. We will also have NICE Night volunteers available to help with any questions you may have. Early bidding will also be available the week of April 8th.
How do I sign up and participate in the online auction?
Purchase tickets online at nice2019.givesmart.com and you will automatically be registered to participate in the online auction.
Alternatively, you can register for the auction by selecting the “register to participate” button at nice2019.givesmart.com. You can also text “nice2019” to 52182 and follow the text prompts to quickly register via text/SMS. You will receive a personalized link to the auction. You will be required to add a payment method to your account before you can begin bidding. If you previously purchased tickets via PayPal, you will need to separately register for the auction using one of these methods.
Register to bid
To expedite check-in at the event, please register with the auction site prior to attending. If you purchased your tickets via nice2019.givesmart.com, you are already registered! Otherwise, register via the website or text “nice2019” to 52182. There will be volunteers to help with registration at the door.
Once you register, you will receive a personal bidding link to the online auction via text. Simply start bidding on your favorite items! You can view items by category, or search items directly. You can also set a maximum bid for any item - the system will bid incrementally up to your maximum bid as long as someone bids against you.
Check Your Notifications
You will receive a text if you are outbid. A banner will also appear across any item you are bidding on that indicates whether you are winning or losing. So be sure to have your phone fully charged so you can watch your favorite items throughout the night!
Check Out and Collect Your Winnings
Auction winners are required to pay and pick up their winnings at guest check-out. Select the pay button at the top of your screen, review your purchases, and pay using either your card on file or a different credit card. Once payment is complete, a red paid stamp will appear on your summary and you can proceed to pick up your items.
If you wish to pay with a method other than your credit card, please see a NICE Night volunteer.
NOTE: If you win an item but are not present for checkout (e.g. you left early or participated in bidding but could not attend the event), your credit card on file will be charged at 12 a.m. on 4/14/2019. We will contact you to arrange your item pick-up.
I can’t attend A NICE Night on April 13th, but would like to help. What can I do?
You can register and participate in the silent auction even if you cannot attend! Visit nice2019.givesmart.com and select “register to participate” or text “nice2019” to 52182.
